When you think of “heavy highway” construction it’s not hard to put Big Zac DeWees in the picture. Growing up in a heavy construction family not only built Zac’s size, but his determination as well. As a 6’3”, 370 lbs defensive tackle Zac has been a heavy hitter long before he played semi pro football and was scouted by the Rams, Cardinals, and Browns. “Football practices were a vacation compared to muscling rock and concrete forms in the Arizona heat,” says Zac. This determination and working in heavy construction put Zac through college where he proved that his brain was as big as his brawn, graduating with a degree in statistical mathematics.

Zac is also big on believing in people. His personal belief “no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care!” extends throughout his personal life as Zac has returned to his Alma Mater ASU to mentor campus students in life and in education. This commitment to a personal involvement is the cornerstone for Big Z Constructors’ methodology. Being able to “Get Who You Want!” can only happen when a professional of Zac’s stature and experience gets involved with your goals, your culture, and you personally.

On a personal note one of Zac’s goals is to set the world bench press record.
